Sustainable construction is a crucial endeavour for Cygnus, we aim to build all our projects with a long-term vision that balances economic, environmental, and social factors.
Sustainable construction not only benefits the environment but also contributes to long-term financial savings and a healthier, happier planet.
Here are just a few examples of how we aim be sustainable:
- Materials Selection: Opt for renewable and recyclable materials in construction projects. By using sustainable materials, we can reduce our environmental impact and contribute to resource conservation.
- Energy Efficiency: Implement energy-efficient practices throughout the construction process. This includes reducing the energy consumed during material production and transportation in building materials. Additionally, we focus on creating buildings that minimise energy consumption during their operational phase – a cost efficient benefit for our clients and their tenants.
- Waste Reduction: Construction generates significant waste. We actively work to reduce on-site waste by promoting recycling, reusing materials, and minimising unnecessary consumption.
We are proud to announce that we have partnered with Carbon Neutral Britain to offset our carbon footprint, and plant 30 trees each month in sustainable projects around the world.
