A complete overhaul of the mains water tank and header on a live, occupied building.
This project was completed in a phased manner by stripping out and installing one tank at a time, all steel pipe-work had to manufactured offsite for a piecemeal install of the new header.
A new walkway between the two tanks had been formed on existing steels which required extensive cleaning, decorating and the install of non-split grating to facilitate maintenance procedures.
New filters and alarm systems were installed to increase the level of monitoring.
